This nonprofit advocacy group is committed to closing the gap between the demand of older workers for the ability to work longer and exit workplaces through flexible and phased retirement and the limited offerings of these options by employers. Respectful Exits is a project of New Ways to Work, Inc., a 501(c)(3) organization.

Paul Rupert is Chief Executive of both Rupert Organizational Design and Respectful Exits. He has been a flexible staffing and scheduling practitioner, advocate and consultant for four decades. He has consulted to more than a hundred major employers on superior approaches to implementing flexibility in the workplace. His firm pioneered innovative approaches to flexible and phased retirement over the last decade.
In 2017 he led the team which launched Respectful Exits as the leading advocacy organization to change employer practices toward aging workers. It developed the Longevity Agenda as a standard for desirable change and ThePhazer™as a tool to support individuals and jump-start the change process.
Respectful Exits will actively support users of ThePhazer through a monthly newsletter distributed free of charge to those who sign up below. It will include regular updates to the site, accounts of successful applications, user questions and answers and additional resources to strengthen the proposal processes.
